The PRK IV rucksack (pronounced Park 4)

For well over a decade we at PRK IV have lived in the heart of a big city. We love the city, but also yearn for the occasional escape to the mountains to immerse ourselves in nature, far away from the chaos of the city that we love.

There was a time when we had a backpack for every occasion….too many packs to be honest. Packs for the city, and a handful of others for day hikes in the mountains.

Then one day, encouraged by friends, we decided to embark on an adventure to make our own rucksack that is ideal for both city-living and day hikes in the mountains, and give away all our other packs. Thus the PRK IV was born! It has been a long journey, but we are happy with our creation and hope you are too! Day hikes are made easier by an internal pocket that doubles as a laptop sleeve and a pouch for a water bladder. There is an access point for the straw, and elastic straps along the shoulder strap keep the straw secure and out of your way.
